Advisory Council - New Capital Wealthy Nations Bond Fund

Stratton Street Capital partners, Andy Seaman and Mark Johns, both sit on the New Capital Wealthy Nations Bond Fund Advisory Council and provide research to Lead Portfolio Manager Michael Leithead and EFG Asset Management's fixed income team.

The New Capital Wealthy Nations Bond Fund’s investment process seeks to avoid some of the key pitfalls of a benchmark orientated approach to investing in credit. Benchmark investing often leads portfolios to be inefficiently exposed to the most indebted countries and companies, not those that are the most capable of repaying their debts. The Fund aims to avoid this by screening out those countries with net foreign assets less than -50% of GDP, and instead focus on investing in the best value sovereigns, quasi-sovereigns and corporates in the countries that have the greatest economic capacity to repay their debts.

The Fund is a UCITS fund listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. An Australian Trust, the Stratton Street New Capital Wealthy Nations Bond Fund is also available.
